This is the crescendo event for the Karen for Queen campaign. Nestled on the dock at Safe Harbour Marina, Stock Island, is the Lost Supper Kitchen Club, a speakeasy just off the beaten path. Here you will be serenaded by the reigning Queen Mother, Vanna Black, aka Ronnie Carruthers with his 3SUM ensemble. The night will be one of drinks and exquisite hors d’oeuvres, made by local Chef Martin Liz. A highlight of the event will be special guest artist Johnny White of Mile Zero Magazine. Johnny will be showing his Lenticular work (3D photographs) of Key West Drag Queens, upstairs at Collections Gallery. Local couples prove they are the “newlywed’est” couple in Key West. Then laugh along with our bachelors and bachelorettes as they try to win a date with an “incognito” gamester on the other side of the curtain. Thursday, September 19, Doors open at 6:00 PM – Vibrator Races at Mary Ellen’s Bar, 420 Applerouth Lane. Vroom vroom! Fire them up and let them … um … wiggle their way to the finish line. Vibrators (yes, that kind) in all shapes and sizes race down the track. Bid on your favorite, and you own that one for the race.
